Working Hours:

  • Early Morning Shift: 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM

The Role 

We are currently seeking an exceptional Full-time/Part-time Chef with a professional manner to work within the Virgin Australia Beyond Lounge at the Sydney Domestic Airport

We are on a quest to find true hospitality professionals to be a representative of Trippas White Group and Virgin Australia. Based in our exclusive space at Sydney airport, your experience and high standard of food knowledge with a self-motivated attitude will support and drive the team to meet and exceed the expectations of Virgin Australia and their most highly valued guests.

Your key duties will include:

  • The delivery of a la carte style dining services for guest
  • Ensuring such items meets and exceeds the expectation of each guest
  • Assisting with menu design
  • Ensuring immaculate presentation of Food Service
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene

To be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 2+ years Chef experience in Fine dining and/or superior hotel service
  • Delivery of high standards in food quality and taste for events and a la carte service
  • An ability to demonstrate sound knowledge for Food & Beverage
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation and grooming
  • Knowledge of OH&S & hygiene
  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery
  • Your own transportation is essential
  • Flexible availability to work early shifts from 4 am across 7 days of the week
