The Location
Telstra’s - The Dish Café is a casual dining venue at Sydney’s Customer Insight Centre (CIC). The Dish provides a welcoming and calm atmosphere for Telstra customers and partners – the perfect place to share insights and ideas over breakfast, lunch or coffee and a snack. Telstra staff and clients will be booking the space exclusively for evening or larger functions and events. There are 10 meeting rooms to service daily, as well as catering to al floors within the building.
The Role
You must be very organised and able to multitask as this role may throw many different requests and tasks at you in one day. Fantastic work life balance – immediate start.
Client Relations
You will develop a close working knowledge of our clients’ organisation to understand their business needs. You will develop and implement strategies to meet client service requirements, providing regular feedback to key client contacts and maintaining a dynamic and committed continuous improvement approach. You will maximise opportunities to reinforce Trippas White Group (TWG), value added service capability and build positive client relationships and customer loyalty.
This is a full-time position - predominantly Monday – Friday with some evenings where required.
You
- Establishes and sustains a productive relationship with key client contacts through day-to-day contact.
- Actively represents TWG as a professional, responsive and committed partner to the success and continuous improvement of the contract.
- Is available to the client to discuss in an open and collaborative manner any concerning issues and takes ownership over ensuring solutions are promptly actioned.
- Communicates effectively with clients to foster an environment of trust and in a manner which promotes understanding of effective work outcomes.
Food Preparation & Presentation
The Corporate and Events and café supervisor is a working member of the team, and is responsible for the overall presentation of the Events and Café:
• Coffee Barista making skills
• Can use and update POS systems whist serving customers
• Can work autonomously
• Ensure any staff are familiar with menu items prior to service
• Follow TWG standard guidelines with regards to presentation of food
• Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction, by having adequate staffing and process and procedures in a timely manner
• Ensure that any FOH staff adhere to the correct methods presentation
• Maintain sufficient levels of staff throughout the days service times
• Adhere to correct holding temperatures and monitor throughout the day’s trade
• Ensure a forward-thinking approach to production schedules, taking into account unanticipated changes that may affect the level of service.
