Casual Catering Assistant | Edinburgh Parks
We are looking for a Catering Assistant with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.
Reporting directly to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for delegated areas of the kitchen production team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day production of all kitchen requirements
- Receiving of goods/storage of food
- Ensuring the highest standards of food presentation & creativity
- Ordering and replenishing stock
- Clean up and area maintenance
- Food handling
- Cash handling
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Relevant experience in catering environment
- Café experience (essential)
- Sandwich artist experience (desirable)
- Barista skills and customer service skills
- Must have own transport and driving licence
- Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
