You’ll work closely with a supportive, tight-knit team to deliver a variety of delicious, nourishing meals – from daily boarding and day student meals to standout spreads for school and community events.
This is a full-time salaried role, offering long-term potential and VISA sponsorship for the right candidate.
Please note: Flexibility for rostered mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional public holidays will be key to meeting school needs.

You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all operational deliverables within the contract at SMGS
- Preparing and cooking a wide range of adolescent friendly dishes to a consistently high standard
- Working and managing inclusively within a team
- Maintaining shop lists, orderings, invoicing and other site administration
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets set by the business
- Displaying innovation and creative flair on site
- Engaging and working directly with residents and staff to create a home away from home environment
Skills and Experience
To hit the ground running you will demonstrate:
- A proven ability to deliver quality food in an educational environment
- Well-developed communication and team skills
- Constructive behaviours that are a positive example to others
- Ability to multitask and work as part of a wider team
- Strong autonomy and the ability to innovate and self-motive
- The highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
- Sound knowledge of dietary requirements
- Nationally Recognised Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
