About the role – create great experiences for our customers through engaging with your team
We are currently seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead the catering service with our valued client. A large educational provider in Melbourne’s Northeast – encompassing residential students, retail & conference groups, hosting internal and external events of all styles and guest numbers. From intimate lunches to a cocktail style event for 1000.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will use your collaborative leadership and strategic planning capabilities to lead our large and dedicated team, ensuring continuous improvement in areas such as food quality and service standards, logistics, employee development, budget management and exceeding client expectations through delivering innovation to residential, function, conferencing and retail food products and service.

About you – a hospitality professional who achieves results through collaborative leadership
To thrive in this role, you will need
- Significant management experience within a hotel, residential college or related hospitality/food service industry.
- Outstanding client service focus demonstrated by superior communication ability.
- Strong business and financial management skills.
- Proven experience in managing people and challenging situations within a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
- Predominately a Monday to Friday position however out of hours’ functions require flexibility with your working hours., If you are passionate about quality food, excellent service, and developing high performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
- A current working with children’s check is required along with a current Victorian Divers License
