Catering Assistant positions available – Bundoora Location

Full Time / Casual Catering Assistant- Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm & 1pm to 8.30pm
Part Time/ Casual -Saturday & Sunday shifts available: 7am to 11am & 4pm to 9pm
We are currently looking for Catering Assistant’s to join our team at one of our Residential & Events Universities located in Bundoora
The key to our success is our people. Your role as Catering Assistant in this busy café, events and residential facility is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued customers and students
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Customer service in our bistro
- Service & set up of students & clients through the dining service areas
- Food preparation, including sandwiches & salads where required
- Coffee making skills
- Operating a commercial dishwasher
- Assisting with function setups & delivery
- RSA preferred
- Computer skills preferred to assist with administrative duties
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
• A passion for quality food, coffee and customer service
• A current food handlers certificate ( this can be arranged)
• Previous experience in food preparation
• Previous experience in a cafe environment
• Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
• A warm, bubbly and efficient personality
• An ability to work as part of a great team
• Have excellent attention to detail
WWC & RSA is a must in this location
Current Victoria drivers licence is preferred
