Job No:

Location:
Head Office
Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
Full-Time | Growth-Focused Sales Role | National Scope
At Trippas White Group (TWG), we deliver high-impact hospitality solutions in some of Australia’s most iconic venues — spanning education, precincts, corporate, restaurants, retail and events. With significant growth momentum, we’re looking to expand our high-performing Business Development team.
We’re seeking an experienced and commercially astute Business Development Manager who combines the tenacity of a hunter with the consultative approach of a trusted advisor. You’ll be comfortable getting in front of decision-makers, initiating conversations, and building long-term relationships that lead to new business wins.
This is a national role with flexibility to focus on a dedicated sector or geographic region, depending on skillset. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment — identifying opportunities, curating strategic solutions, and driving the full sales process through complex and often long-term cycles.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a designated vertical or region, with national remit and visibility
- Proactively generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Get in front of decision-makers, build trust, and convert relationships into commercial outcomes
- Lead the preparation and writing of EOIs, proposals and tenders
- Collaborate with culinary, operations, finance and marketing to shape bespoke service offers
- Navigate complex deal structures including licences, leases, and management agreements
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, visit sites and attend key industry events
What You’ll Bring
- Proven track record in solution-based sales within hospitality, services, precincts, retail, or property
- Ability to initiate and nurture long-term relationships, not just close quick wins
- Comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and actively building your own pipeline
- Demonstrated capability in curating commercial strategy and writing proposals — not just relying on others to craft the response
- Understanding of the markets we work in — education, corporate dining, events, restaurants, and precincts
- Knowledge of contractual frameworks (e.g. leases, licences, management agreements)
- Able to work tactically with operations while driving big-picture growth goals
- A high level of resilience, initiative, and commercial confidence
- Authenticity, ambition, and a genuine desire to make an impact
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally
Why Join TWG?
- Help shape the growth strategy of one of Australia’s leading hospitality providers
- Engage with some of the country’s most high-profile clients and locations
- Be part of an agile, collaborative team that values innovation and accountability
- Access strong internal support — from culinary and operations to marketing and finance
- Work flexibly across sectors with a national scope
- You're looking for the next step in your career where you can grow, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a progressive, high-performing team
