About the role – create great experiences for our customers through engaging with your team

We are currently seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead the catering service for our valued partner, one of Melbourne’s residential colleges located in Parkville, housing and feeding 250 students and 20 college personnel.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will use your collaborative leadership and strategic planning capabilities to lead our large and dedicated team, ensuring continuous improvement in areas such as food quality and service standards, logistics, employee development, budget management and exceeding client expectations through delivering innovation to residential meal service both formal & informal, function’s or various styles, plated, cocktail & buffet, and external conference groups.

About you – a hospitality professional who achieves results through collaborative leadership

To thrive in this role, you will need

Significant management experience within a hotel, residential college or related hospitality/food service industry. Flexibility with hours of work is a must

  • Outstanding client service focus demonstrated by superior communication ability.
  • Strong business and financial management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing people and challenging situations within a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
  • Predominately a Monday to Friday position however out of hours’ functions & events will require flexibility with your working hours.
