The Events Supervisor represents Trippas White Group within The Scots College and plays a hands-on role in the coordination, preparation, and execution of events. This position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of an event are delivered in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, in line with event guidelines and the venue’s operational standards.
The Events Supervisor is also accountable for managing and strengthening the relationship with the school, while building and leading a strong, reliable, and professional events service team, all within wage cost controls.
You will work closely with the Operations Team to ensure that furniture, equipment, and beverages are prepared and allocated in a timely manner for all events.
Additionally, you will conduct pre-event briefings with both the Kitchen and FOH service teams, ensuring collaboration across departments to deliver seamless execution of each event. This includes overseeing setup, running orders and timeframes, and managing dietary requirements and other client-specific expectations.
About You:
- A passion for customer service by creating memorable experiences through providing high level service with great food & beverage products!
- Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices
- A high attention to detail with a hands-on approach
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to work across a 5 day roster – school term periods only
- Previous experience in a canteen, catering or corporate hospitality is an advantage
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Immaculate grooming and presentation
