Prestigious Girls’ Day & Boarding School – Croydon, Sydney
Are you passionate about food that nourishes, comforts, and supports young people to thrive? We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Chefs to join our catering team at a leading all-girls day and boarding school in Croydon.
This role focuses primarily on breakfast and weekend service and is available on a full-time and part-time basis. It is ideally suited to a motivated chef who enjoys working in a close-knit team and takes pride in preparing fresh, nutritious meals for a boarding school community.
You will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of students by delivering high-quality food that is balanced, appealing, and tailored to the needs of girls aged 14–18.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for boarding students
- Cater for a range of dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural needs
- Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with the wider school and catering team to promote healthy eating habits
About You
- Hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Have experience in meal planning and food preparation, ideally within an education, boarding, or similar environment
- Bring a warm, inclusive, and respectful approach to your work — kindness and professionalism are key
