We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic chef, who is passionate about cooking and willing to join the kitchen team in a prestigious private college located within the University of Sydney. Your mission in this role is to deliver top quality, tasty and consistent food in a timely manner throughout the academic calendar, including student and external function catering as required.


This is a Fixed Full-Time role on an hourly rate, based on the level 5 hospitality award rate. at St Pauls College, Camperdown, working as a Junior chef / commis chef. Please note due to the nature of this role, public holiday rostering and change of hours may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements. Flexibility with working weekends. Shift include from 12pm- 8pm or 9pm -5pm.


You will be responsible for:


·        Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard.
·        Working inclusively within a team of up to 10 kitchen staff, including chefs of all levels.
·        Maintaining shop lists and stock rotation.
·        Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets set by the business.

·        Sound knowledge of dietary requirement.
·        Working with children check.
