A great opportunity has become available for a motivated Distribution Team Leader to join the team in the Night Shift at our busy distribution centre in Liverpool NSW.

Step into Leadership in a Hands-On, Fast-Moving Environment

Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager NSW, this varied role will see you directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our loading bay, supervising and supporting dock staff, ensuring all product is dispatched accurately, safely, and efficiently. 

As the central point of contact during the night shift, you’ll keep things running smoothly managing resources, supporting your team, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Shift Hours: 10.00PM - 5.30AM

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead, supervise, and support the loading bay team during your shift
• Oversee efficient deployment of staff, equipment, and vehicles
• Ensure accurate stock checks, correct labelling, documentation, and product rotation
• Create daily load sheets and allocate drivers to delivery runs
• Liaise with Production on variances and complete daily stock-on-hand counts
• Maintain forklift and dock equipment and manage pallets/crates
• Conduct team meetings, end-of-shift reviews, and provide clear feedback
• Train, induct, and develop team members
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, food safety, and compliance with all policies and SOPs

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for a confident and experienced Supervisor who is a do-er and thrives in operational environments where running an efficient, safe and well-organised dock is paramount.

To be successful in the role you will bring:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution centre or warehousing environment
• Experience supervising teams of 6+ in a fast-paced or 24/7 environment
• Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry will be a strong advantage
• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• A current HR Truck Licence will be highly regarded
• Physical capacity for heavy lifting of up to 25Kg
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Sound numerical skills and confidence working with stock data
• Reliable, proactive, and able to take sound decisions under pressure
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to safety and continuous improvement
