Council is seeking a self-motivated environmental professional seeking a diverse, challenging and rewarding career opportunity. Reporting to the Manager Planning and Development Infrastructure & Regulation and leading a small environmental team, you will be responsible for directing council in the delivery of high quality environmental programs.
You will develop, coordinate, implement, promote and evaluate environmental programs to effectively manage the Shire's natural environment.

Our ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications at a degree or diploma level in an Environmental Management discipline, along with project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications, along with demonstrated achievements at a coordinator level in an environmental compliance or regulatory role, ideally within the water/wastewater industry.
