Water & Sewer Operator - Casual

About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest from hard working and reliable individuals to join our casual pool within our Water and Sewer team to provide cover for staff leave and/or fill temporary vacancies. Casuals are currently required in our Water and Sewer team however further opportunities may be available in our civil works and outdoor crews and at our Waste Resource facility. This is a perfect opportunity for people who would like a taste of what working at Council is like, as well as those who are seeking extra hours to fit in around other commitments or are looking for short-term work.

About You 

Our ideal candidates are reliable and punctual, and keen to work in Council's Water & Sewer team. Other opportunities may arise across the Civil team including Landfill, Parks and Gardens and Construction. The ability to follow directions, work as a team and follow safe work practices is essential. You must be physically fit to undertake the inherent requirements of the various positions.

Council is offering a commencing hourly rate of $27.47 + 25% casual loading and superannuation.
