Uralla Shire Council is currently seeking volunteers with a passion for our local community to assist in our visitor information center, assisting with customer service and tourism enquiries, marketing and community engagement.

Under the direction of the Tourism and Events Coordinator, volunteers will be based in the Uralla Visitor Information Centre, which is about to receive upgrades, additional resourcing and investment, however there is potential to extend volunteering across other areas of Council.

We are looking for positive professional and proactive people with a commitment to customer service and growing our local visitor economy. Whilst previous experience is not a prerequisite, you will be required to use general office equipment such as computers and software packages.
The Visitor Information Centre is open seven days a week, including some public holidays, and we have various flexible shifts available for volunteers to suit your lifestyle - volunteer for as little as a half day a week!
