We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Stores Officer to join our team on a fulltime basis. As the Stores Officer, you will provide prompt, accurate, courteous and helpful customer service to all stakeholders, internal and external. You will plan, develop, source, administer and monitor ordering and control of stock, stores and materials, while maximising Councils business opportunities and meeting Councils needs and obligations.

Our ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications in contract management, procurement, business, related field or equivalent experience. You will have well-developed oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as write complex reports and request for quote and tender documents.
To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work in a demanding work environment which requires effective time management and problem solving skills in order to meet agreed timeframes and deadlines.
