This hands-on role involves general labouring and plant operation duties across Council’s civil infrastructure projects. As part of the traineeship, you will undertake formal training to achieve a Certificate III in Civil Construction, gaining valuable skills and experience while contributing to meaningful community works.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Australian driver’s licence and a General Construction Induction card and be physically capable of performing manual labour. They will demonstrate a genuine interest in civil construction, a willingness to learn and undertake formal study, and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability. Literacy and numeracy skills, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
