The Opportunity

Uralla Shire Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a strategic and compassionate leader to take on the role of Group Manager – Community Services. This executive position oversees the delivery of vital community services including Residential Aged Care, Community Care, Library Services, and associated governance and funding programs.

You will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, accredited services that meet the needs of our community, while ensuring compliance with legislative standards and fostering a culture of respect, trust, and continuous improvement.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Group Manager – Community Services role is a compassionate and strategic leader with demonstrated experience in managing aged care, community services, and governance, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and a strong commitment to service excellence, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

 The Offer 

This Band 4 Level 2 position under the Local Government (State) Award 2023 offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of the Uralla Shire community. You will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of professionals committed to service excellence.

In return for your hard work and dedication, Council is offering a competitive commencing salary of $162,703 plus super negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
