We are seeking a full-time Water and Wastewater Operator to join the team!
The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the operation and maintenance of Council's water and wastewater treatment systems, networks and equipment to ensure compliance with health, environmental and customer service requirements and standards.
The role includes manual labour; operation of mobile and fixed plant & equipment; working in confined spaces; working at heights; working over water and exposure to electrical hazards. It includes exposure to sewage through clearing wastewater chokes and working at the sewage treatment plants.
This position includes call out rotation and working on weekends and public holidays. You may be required to perform your role from any work location within the Uralla Shire Council local government area.
