Uralla Shire Council is seeking motivated and compassionate General Direct Support Workers to join our Tablelands Community Support team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, as per roster).
In this rewarding role, you will provide in‑home and community‑based support to older people and individuals living with disability, helping them to maintain independence and remain safely in their own homes. Your work will include assisting with daily living activities, domestic tasks, social support, and transport, all delivered in line with individual care plans.
Working under the guidance of the Coordinator Direct Care, you will play an important role in delivering services in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and/or NDIS Practice Standards, supporting participant choice, dignity, and wellbeing
