We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused IT professional to join our team as an IT Support Officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Council's IT Support Desk and providing specialist technical support, advice and problem-solving expertise to staff across the organisation. You will play an important role in ensuring Council's technology systems, infrastructure and user environments operate effectively, securely and efficiently.
Working across a diverse range of technologies, you will support hardware, software, networks and communications infrastructure, coordinate external service providers, manage user accounts and access, and contribute to the delivery of ICT projects and strategic initiatives. This position offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of services across the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will hold qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, or possess equivalent industry experience in a business environment.
We are seeking someone who can build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external support providers, communicate technical information clearly, and manage competing priorities in a responsive and professional manner. Experience working within a diverse organisation across multiple locations, along with project coordination skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, will be highly regarded
