ABOUT THIS ROLE
If you’re a stand-out graphic designer based in Sydney, looking to put your stamp on one of the most dynamic youth markets in Australia, then we’d love you to join our friendly, vibrant marketing team.
You’ll be involved in a wide variety of projects, from major events, brand identities and retail campaigns to corporate communications. Other responsibilities will include quality control of design and artwork through concept, preproduction, and production, maintaining and evolving brand guidelines, managing the design filing system and pro-actively participating in meetings
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deliver high-quality creative solutions across a range of print and digital projects.
- Manage multiple design tasks and deadlines, prioritising work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret briefs and develop innovative, brand-aligned concepts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
- Contribute to brand development and uphold consistency across all visual outputs.
- Prepare artwork for both digital and print production, ensuring quality control at every stage.
- Stay up to date with design trends, particularly those relevant to youth-focused audiences.
- Apply feedback constructively to improve outcomes and strengthen design solutions.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional design/agency experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative, effective, and high-quality design work across both print and digital mediums.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to respond creatively to briefs.
- Strong time management skills and experience juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach.
- Solid understanding of branding, identity, and typography.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) on Mac.
- A sound understanding of digital platforms, including social media.
- Production knowledge across both online and offline outputs.
- A professional, yet approachable manner.
- Ability to work effectively within resource-limited settings.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience working on youth brands.
- Demonstrated Illustration skills.
- Knowledge of motion graphics (Final Cut Pro/ Premiere Pro/ After Effects).
- Ability to create vector and/or photo animations.
