Position Summary
This position entails overseeing the operational aspects of several critical programs, including Therapeutic Family Violence and Sexual Assault, Family Violence Case Management, Men’s Family Violence Program, and Youth Justice programs. Responsibilities encompass managing personnel, budgetary allocations, fostering partnerships with relevant departments, ensuring compliance, handling administrative tasks, and providing support and supervision for the Southern Family Violence programs' regional operations.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management, program implementation, and service planning including monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance of standards.
- Strong organisational abilities and interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to negotiate and work effectively with a range of individuals and organisations to achieve organisational and program objectives.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Aboriginal employees, organisations and key stakeholders.
- A proven ability to supervise, manage and support line reports to build a competent team of professionals to work with and address the individual and specific needs of Aboriginal families.
- Requirement: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a full Victorian Drivers Licence
