Salary: $82,045 to $88,277.80, plus super (based on skills & experience)

About the role
The Early Years Specialised Case Worker supports vulnerable young pregnant and new mothers (with children aged 0-4) and their partners. They focus on building parenting capacity and connecting families with appropriate services through a culturally informed approach. This involves collaboration with VACCA programs, maternal health services, and community-based child protection services. The worker fosters a culturally connected environment, offering family support through regular home visits, parenting skill enhancement, cultural needs identification, community activity information, and service referrals.
About You
- Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Worker and/or substantial experience in these fields is desirable.
- Relevant work experience in Child Development, Social Work or Community Services field that supports an understanding of child development and family functioning including theories of attachment, intergenerational and personal trauma as well as relevant risk assessment frameworks, service responses and interventions in working with vulnerable families.
