The St Vincent de Paul Society is a leading provider of community support services and has been assisting people experiencing disadvantage in NSW for more than 130 years. The Role 

This leadership role is critical to ensuring the effective delivery of homelessness and housing services that aim to reduce the impact of poverty within the South/West region. Your direct reports will include Team Leaders in services in Albury, Wagga Wagga and Deniliquin; also includes services in Broken Hill and Illawarra region. 

You will be responsible for:

  • providing direction and guidance to your team members towards achieving service goals
  • monitoring and assessing the outcomes and impact of service delivery, and driving continuous improvement
  • ensuring services and programs are compliant with relevant government regulations and quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s including social work, youth work, community services or management.
  • Demonstrated experience in management positions in a human services environment, particularly with the development and delivery of outcome focussed services.
  • Sound knowledge of the specific service industry requirements to support clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • Proven ability to apply advanced analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills within a complex operating environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly across NSW.
  • NSW driver licence.
