Your New Role 

An opening has become available for an experienced Learning and Development Partner to join the People, Culture and Strategy team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.  Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning, you will be responsible for delivering quality learning and development initiatives that develop the capabilities of our members, volunteers and employees according to their individual needs. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with managers in the business to deliver strategies and learning programs to build and support employee, team and organisational capability.
  • Consult and conduct needs analyses for capability building and performance of members, employees and volunteers across regions, aligned to the business, service and/or individual needs.
  • Provide tailored learning solutions for technical and core learning initiatives for individual, team and organisational needs, to deliver required learning outcomes.
  • Design, develop and deliver learning and development programs for our members, volunteers and employees, while encompassing the 70:20:10 framework.
  • Provide technical insight in relation to the Learning Management System (LMS) through using the technology and via data and evidence-based reporting to improve learning outcomes.
  • Implement continuous and effective feedback mechanisms regarding learning and development opportunities for our people.
  • Research and analyse emerging trends and themes and make recommendations on fit for purpose solutions.
  • Drive change and increase employee engagement.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in training and development.
  • Experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including in instructional design to deliver measurable learning outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders from across a diverse workforce, including members, volunteers and staff delivering a variety of services.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Experience working in a membership-based organisation to support and empower members and volunteers.
