 Your new role:

As Donor Care & Regular Giving Coordinator, you will build and strengthen our donor care services to enable maintenance of long-term supporter relationships. Your ability to establish rapport, exude warmth and friendliness during telephone and written interactions will be vital in your role as first point of contact with donors.  You will also coordinate activities relating to the delivery of the Regular Giving program as part of the Society’s key fundraising objectives.  There is potential to learn and grow in this role especially for those with keen interest in direct marketing. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for current and potential supporters who contact us by telephone, letter or email
  • Provide timely response to enquiries, requests and feedback through telephone or written communication
  • Proactively seek ways to improve donor care processes
  • Participate in activities and initiatives aimed at increasing the level of supporter satisfaction
  • Coordinate activities relating to the Regular Giving program to build and uplift donor engagement, support and reduce attrition.

 To be successful, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications preferred in related disciplines e.g. business, marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and experience using databases.
  • Understanding of marketing and fundraising preferable. Direct Marketing knowledge would be advantageous.
