Your new role:

Your role as Administration Officer is to provide vital administration support to the Regional Director and the Metropolitan Operations Team committed to carrying out important works of the Society.  You will ensure that the team's administrative support requirements are fulfilled in an effective, accurate and timely manner.   Your proven high level administrative, collaborative and engagement skills will be critical to be effective in this role. Some travel to metropolitan locations may be required from time to time.

 Your responsibilities: 

  • Support the Regional Director, including diary management, email management, travel, document management and general administrative tasks
  • Coordinate meetings, production and distribution of communications & newsletters
  • Prepare documents, which involve collating information and analysing data relevant to supporting important decision making
  • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, respond to meeting requests.
  • Support specific projects and initiatives as determined by the Regional Director
  • Support the delivery of Member programs, including Twinning, WE CARE, NILS, Emergency Relief Fund (ERF), Drought Relief (where relevant).
  • Support members and volunteers in the completion of compliance requirements i.e. police check, WWCC, etc.
  • Assist with the coordination and arrangement of local events and forums as required.

To be successful, you will need: 

  • Business or Office Administration certificate is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven project coordination skills and ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Demonstrated experience providing operational support in teams working remotely and across various regions.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders from across a diverse workforce that delivers a variety of services.
  • Proven customer service experience with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • NSW driver licence.
