Your new role:
As the State Manager, Quality and Practice, you will play a pivotal role in leading the systematic approach to embedding quality & consistent practice, capacity building, and a culture of continuous improvement across our division. You will work closely with the Director of Housing & Homelessness to deliver on key aims and objectives, expand service delivery, and ensure compliance with accreditation processes.
Using your excellent interpersonal skills you will engage effectively with stakeholders across a range of services, promoting a positive & proactive culture around accreditation. You will be joining a supportive and dedicated team where you can contribute meaningfully to the community and make a real difference to people's lives.
Your responsibilities:
- Fostering and developing a culture of continuous improvement informed by a strong evidence base
- Developing a quality and practise framework to support the accreditation process for specialist homelessness services
- Monitoring measurement frameworks to ensure programme and divisional goals are being met
- Working with the Housing & Homelessness leadership team to deliver the division's operation plan
- Assisting in the development of business plans and the implementation of a strategic framework
- Supporting the implementation of policies and protocols across the division
- Engaging with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and First Nations communities
- Assisting with the design, development, implementation, and management of projects
- Contributing to the organisation's governance by supporting the quality internal audit programme
We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging individual who possesses the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in quality or accreditation systems development.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing teams at a senior level
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Sound understanding of quality management in the not-for-profit sector
- Experience in project development, implementation, and management
- High-level strategic thinking skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of people and promote a positive culture around accreditation & quality assurance
