  • Base Salary + Superannuation = $70,728 (pro rata) + Salary Packaging

About the role 

This role sits within our customer service team at Quantum and will support our newly relocated Quantum office in Mount Waverley, Victoria, including customer service and welcoming visitors on site. This role will allow you to utilise your customer service skills in a meaningful way to support both our customers and the broader Quantum team. It will offer you the opportunity to support the set-up of a new office and building our customer base in Victoria.  

The role will support general customer inquiries on multiple channels including face to face, phone and/or email. You will be required use your skills in using databases and software programs to process & prepare company purchase orders, sales orders and on-line website orders via appropriate channels and prepare documentation and payments for all funding types (including NDIS, DVA, and HCP). There will be contact with relevant stakeholders, including allied health professionals and Ophthalmologists/Optometrists, to deliver approved products and services to clients in accordance with relevant funding guidelines. 

The successful candidate will collaborate with local Quantum Consultants to organise stock for the local office, and manage loan and demonstration stock.

For over 35 years, Quantum has been providing products and services to people with a print disability (low vision, blindness or a learning difficulty). Quantum was the founding sponsor of the Macular Disease Foundation and we are an approved supplier to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the NDIS. We also collaborate closely with eye care professionals (ophthalmology and optometry practices) and vision support agencies such as Vision Australia, Guide Dogs, and the Royal Society for the Blind. 

Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience; 
  • Experience working in high level administration and customer service role; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including an understanding and application of person-centred and strengths-based approaches to engage with Quantum customers and their families/carers; 
  • Understanding of government funding Policies & Procedures within the disability and aged care sector.
