About the Opportunity
As our Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will build relationships with community fundraisers, community groups and businesses while aiding in event coordination for many of our fundraising event campaigns to help increase revenue for the community fundraising program. In this role you will also:
- Lead the co-ordination and end to end management of our Collection Dog Program, Bendigo Easter Egg Hunt event as well as event volunteer coordination and logistics management with internal and external stakeholders for both our Sydney and Melbourne Santa Fun Run events.
- Contribute to the overall performance of Vision Australia through participation as a key member of the team working in the lead up and on Christmas Eve at Carols by Candlelight.

About You
As part of the Fundraising team, you should have a tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing or sales or equivalent experience. In addition, demonstrated experience in delivering successful client/donor relationship outcomes with highly engaged supporters is encouraged. You will also have:
- Thorough understanding of fundraising and the principles of community fundraising and stewardship.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy preparation, tactical development campaign planning and delivery.
- Ability to meet significant in-person sales or fundraising targets – preferably in a fundraising environment and experienced in working within budget to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination with end-to-end management
