This role is responsible for leading the review of Vision Australia’s Adult Braille Service model. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of project activities aimed at supporting clients with vision loss in their independent use of braille for daily living activities. The role will investigate the current service model, implement necessary changes including a new Braille Curriculum, and ensure long term sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Define project scope and schedule focusing on the Braille Service Review.
- Investigate current service delivery challenges, including staffing capacity, braille curriculum, and administration processes.
- Collaborate with braille trainers and cross-functional teams to review current state and identify opportunities with the aim to improve service efficiency.
- Develop and implement centralised management processes for equipment loans, maintenance, and dispatching to reduce cost inefficiencies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in project management, with a focus on service delivery and client outcomes.
- Ability to blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach in the right proportions to fit diverse, complex, organisation-wide projects;
- Knowledge of disability services, particularly in the context of vision loss and assistive technologies such as braille.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with NDIS service models and billing requirements.
