About the Opportunity
As our Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will utilise specialist Physiotherapy knowledge and skills to provide assessment and recommendations to children and adolescents with blindness and low vision. In this role you will also:
- Use a strengths based approach to develop, plan and evaluate; Physiotherapy services/recommendations that reflect the needs and goals of children and their families;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure children’s optimal participation in recreational activities. These stakeholders include schools, teachers and other service providers;
- Provide appropriate and effective management strategies and programs to clients and their families who receive services from Vision Australia.

About You
As part of the Children and Young People Team you should hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy as recognised by the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In addition, previous experience providing physiotherapy services for children is encouraged. You will also have:
- Provision of physiotherapy interventions to improve independence and function;
- Planning, implementing, running and evaluating individual and group programs;
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
