Play a pivotal part in cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, major donors, and private ancillary funds to drive engagement activities, donor circles and events to progress relationships through the giving pipeline to achieve important untied and project-based funding opportunities

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects across VIC, SA & TAS, meeting or exceeding annual fundraising targets.
  • Identify, research and cultivate new prospects, including HNWIs and philanthropic advisers, leading to five and six figure gifts.
  • Work with Board members, the CEO and Leadership Team to develop tailored proposals and make strategic asks.
  • Establish and promote the VIC Donor Circle/s, providing members with recognition opportunities and bespoke engagement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least three years’ experience securing major gifts at five and six figure levels minimum.
  • Tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in building and stewarding donor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of major gift fundraising principles and stewardship.
