About the Opportunity

As our Employment Compliance Coordinator, you will to support the National Employment Team (NET) and National Employment Manager (NEM) meet the compliance requirements of the contracts they work under, primarily the NDIS and Inclusive Employment Australia. In this role you will also be:

  • Supporting the NEM in their responsibility for all claims generated by Vision Australia available under the Inclusive Employment Australia Grant Agreement in accordance with Documentary Evidence Guidelines and any other relevant DSS Guidelines; 
  • Assisting the NEM in investigating the eligibility of all possible payments under the DES Grant Agreement and providing evidence to meet these claims, including monitoring of all placements and outcomes and administration of VISION AUSTRALIA and DSS funded wage subsidies; 
  • Assisting the NEM in meeting financial income targets set for VISION AUSTRALIA’s DES Program, reporting actual performance against financial targets and provide explanation and analysis for any variances, trends and ineligible claims;  
  • Supporting the NEM in their responsibility for the centralisation of all evidence collection for claims made under the DES Grant Agreement - this evidence is to be made available for the purposes of any internal or external audit, DSS monitoring visit and desktop audit.

About You

As part of the Employment Services team, you should have a tertiary degree in Human Resources or Disability Services and/or relevant experience equivalent to the degree. In addition, a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Inclusive Employment Australia Program is encouraged. You will also have:

  • Experience working within the Departments Inclusive Employment Australia and WAOP Web platform 
  • Ability to develop extensive personal and professional networks; 
  • Skills in research, evaluation and planning.

Additional Requirements

In this role, you must have a strong understanding of Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and how it operates within the Workforce Australia ecosystem, including:

  • Knowledge that Inclusive Employment Australia providers deliver tailored employment support for people with disability or health conditions;
  • Understanding that IEA providers access and manage operational information through the Workforce Australia provider portal, consistent with mainstream Workforce Australia services;
  • Awareness that IEA is the disability‑focused arm of Workforce Australia, operating alongside mainstream employment services while specialising in support for job seekers requiring additional or specialised assistance due to disability, injury, or health conditions.
