About the Opportunity
The Senior Sports Coach is responsible for designing and implementing the coaching programs for the College's co-curricular basketball teams and providing further development for smaller groups. You will also coach, co-ordinate and assist the Basketball Coaches of each team.
This is a casual position, working approximately 2-4 morning and/or afternoon shifts per week during school terms
About You
- A senior coaching certificate or similar basketball specific qualification
- Extensive knowledge of basketball, and experience coaching multiple teams, ideally at representative level
- Experience designing and implementing coaching programs, and leading and developing team coaches
- Ability to complete teams administration tasks such as registrations using relevant computer applications
- Ability to undertake the duties of the position in accordance with the College’s Purpose, Values and Code of Conduct
- Collegiate and a good team player
- Actively support the College’s Christian ethos
- The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
- Regular practicing member of a Christian church
