About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to provide support with regards to the day-to-day general business and administration of the Finance Office. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of the accounts payable function of the College and will actively support the College’s strong Christian culture.

As part of the Finance Team, the Accounts Payable Officer will work independently as well as alongside a dynamic and driven team, taking responsibility and care for the accuracy of work in a moderately complex environment.

This role is a full-time position reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

About You

  • Previous accounts payable experience essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Prior experience in a school with knowledge of a Student Management System (e.g., Synergetic) is an advantage
  • Experience with databases, database reporting tools and database queries desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Relational and approachable in dealings within the whole College community
  • Ability to work well within a Finance team
  • Demonstrated excellence in administration and organisation skills
  • A demonstrated faith in Jesus Christ or a willingness to support the stated ethos and aims of the College in ways consistent with Christian attributes
