About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead and strengthen the College’s governance, risk and compliance frameworks. This is a strategic leadership role that supports the College’s commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
As Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of governance and risk management strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including WHS, child protection, privacy, and educational standards
- Provide expert advice to the Business Manager and College Leadership Team
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and ethical practice
- Coordinate internal audits and regulatory reviews
- Deliver training and build staff capacity in compliance-related areas
This role is pivotal in supporting the College’s mission and values, and contributes to the safety and flourishing of our students, staff and broader community.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time position
About You
You are a strategic thinker with:
- Proven experience in governance, risk and compliance (preferably in education or a similar sector)
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership
- Membership with the Governance Institute of Australia (or similar)
- A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the College’s purpose
