About the Company
We currently operate a large number of cafés under our "Fresh+" brand in hospitals across NSW, QLD, and SA, providing food, beverages, and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public.
We are a growing company and require an Assistant Manager for a hands-on operational role where you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager with the running and management of out Sites at Gold Coast University Hospital. The ideal candidate will be determined, hardworking, creative and have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt to different environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Back filling in the absence of the manager
- Leading by example
- Driving revenue through consistency, service and cleanliness
- Being business savvy. Working to meet and exceed strategic, operational and financial goals
- Weekly rosters, timesheets and labour controls
- Time and task management.
- Completing weekly reporting & attending meetings
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure stock levels are maintained and received.
- Integration of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance across cleanliness, safety and operational standards.
- Provide direction, coaching and motivation to the food and beverage team to encourage achievement of company and individual goals
About You
The successful candidate will need to confidently demonstrate previous experience in assisting the running of a fast-paced café or similar sized venue and managing shifts successfully.
We need someone reliable, and flexible to work across the week (including weekends if required). If this is you, you will also have the following, or be willing to obtain:
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification
- Certificate in Hospitality management
It is a requirement for the successful applicant to have unrestricted work rights.
