What You’ll Be Doing

As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Replenishing stock, merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean and well presented.
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.

As a Stockroom Team Member at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

• Stock replenishment - moving stock from stock rooms to various stores.
• Action promotional and general merchandising.
• Working in a team to ensure the store is always presentable and fully stocked for our customers.
• Working across a range of WHSmith stores at Melbourne Airport.
• Ensuring safety across all elements of your role.

*Please note that this role requires heavy lifting*

As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages to cafe standards.
• Greeting and interacting with customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately.
• Restocking supplies and ensuring front-of-house is always well presented.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe.
• Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.
