About the Position

As a Cafe All Rounder, you'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: 

• Serving all customers in a timely and courteous manner
• Handling all transactions using a POS system.
• Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with WHSmith hygiene Standards. 
• Working as part of the Melbourne Airport team to ensure a positive representation of the WHSmith brand. 
• Assisting in the preparation of both food and beverages/coffees. 
• Complying with all workplace health and safety processes, guidelines, and best practice.

In this role, you will be required to work morning shifts starting from 4am, AND/OR evening shifts to finish at 10pm. You will also be required to work one weekend shift each week. 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

• 1+ years of hospitality experience
• Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast paced environment
• Barista skills are desireable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management skills and reliability
• You must be available to work morning shifts starting from 4am, AND/OR evening shifts to finish at 10pm.
• You must be available to work one weekend shift each week & up to 35 hours per week.
