About the Position

As a cafe all-rounder, you'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner whilst handling all transactions with our POS system. You must also be able to maintain a clean workspace in accordance with hygiene standards, whilst assisting with all front of house and back of house procedures.

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks: 

• Serve all customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Handle all payments according to procedure and guidelines.
• Keep all work areas (interior and exterior) clean and tidy at all times, and maintain clean equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Basic food preparation and coffee making.

*Please note that our cafe operates from 4am, and shifts will be varied over 7 days from 3:30am - 11:30pm. 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

• 1 year experience working in a café.
• Barista experience & a Food Safety Certificate is essential. 
• Passion for serving customers in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work great in a team environment
• Flexible availability for early morning starts and late evenings.
