About the Role
As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you are passionate about all things coffee! You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages, alongside exceptional customer service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner, and follow all food safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving food and beverages.
- Managing stock levels.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Handling cash and card transactions.
In your application, please clearly outline your availability. Please note, shifts will range from 6:30am - 7:15am (Monday - Sunday).
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Ideally 1 year of cafe/hospitality experience
- Must have flexible availability (shifts will be rostered in the hours mentioned above).
- Barista skills and experience are essential
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
