About the Position
As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith, you'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Serve customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner
- Cash handling and standard retail transactions
- Demonstrate your flair for customer service
- Adhere to all back and front of house processes and procedures
- Get involved in merchandising and stock rotation
*Please note, shifts vary throughout our operating hours. Early shifts commence at 4am and close shifts end at 2am*
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 1+years of retail/customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility with work hours is a must as we are open 7 days a week including public holidays
