About the Role

As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you are passionate about all things coffee! You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages, alongside exceptional customer service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for: 

  • Preparing and serving food and beverages.
  • Managing stock levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Handling cash and card transactions.

Please note, successful candidate must be flexible in their availability to work across a variety of shifts 7 days a week, from morning through to early evening.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

  • Ideally 1 year of cafe/hospitality experience
  • Must have flexible availability
  • Barista skills and/or food prep knowledge advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
