Our office is conveniently based in Woolloomooloo (close to public transport) with some hybrid working available.
About the Position:
This is an immediate 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity where you will play a key role in POS implementation projects, printer setup and configuration, as well as the maintenance and installation of POS systems and self-checkout (SCO) stations.
This role also offers a diverse range of IT support tasks, including helpdesk, desktop support, and both software and hardware troubleshooting.
Your roles and responsibilities will also include:

Monitoring and recording time spent on tasks

Maintaining accurate IT documentation

Providing user support via phone, email, and on-site when required

Upgrading and deploying desktops, printers, routers, switches, and related hardware

Configuring software and delivering Level 1-2 support to the business

Troubleshooting and performing backups and restores for both hardware and network issues

POS and self-checkout system installation, repair, and maintenance
Candidate Profile
The following qualities are essential in a successful candidate:

Strong knowledge of technologies including operating systems, POS systems, EFTPOS, and printer configuration

Knowledge of Network connectivity

Strong customer service skills
-
Be a proactive self-starter and team player
-
Flexibility and willingness to travel

Current drivers license
-
Ability to work with minimum supervision, reliability in this role is key

Great communication skills both written and verbal

Occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed
