About the Role

As a team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Retail stores, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager, you will support in leading a driven team of talented retail assistants, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include: 

  • Training team members in store processes and procedures.
  • Leading a team of retail assistants to deliver exception customer service via the Service Guarantee.
  • Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Terminal Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations.
  • Maximising availability and store presentation.

 

We have multiple Team Leader roles available across our Melbourne Airport stores, shifts available are:

Tuesday - Saturday (1pm - 9pm)

Tuesday - Saturday (2pm - 10pm)

Sunday - Thursday (1pm - 9pm) 

Sunday - Thursday (2pm - 10pm)

 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will display the following qualities: 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Retail environment.
  • Leadership and training skills.
  • Knowledge of busy retail operations with a focus on sales and service.
  • Experience managing stock.
  • The ability to support the delivery of targets and KPI's.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
