This role is based in our WHSmith Australia Support Office in Woolloomooloo (10-minute walk from Town Hall station).  

 

About the Position 

As an Inventory Officer at WHSmith, you will play a critical role in ensuring our stores have the right products in stock at all times. 

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and have a good understanding of inventory management principles.  

Your key responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels across all locations. 
  • Reviewing and maintaining replenishment parameters and placing orders as required. 
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies. 
  • Updating and maintaining inventory records in our systems. 
  • Collaborating with other teams to support the execution of promotions. 
  • Generate reports to track inventory performance. 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in an admin or data entry focused role. 
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel.  
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
