What You’ll Be Doing

As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Replenishing stock, merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean and well presented.
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.

The Successful Candidate

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prior experience in a fast paced retail environment.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Availability to work early morning shifts (4am start) or late shifts (12am - 2am finish)
