About the Role
We’re seeking a Food & Beverage Inventory Team Leader to oversee inventory operations at our Cafes situated in The Alfred Hospital. This is a all-rounder role where you’ll manage stock and invoicing while also supporting front-of-house operations during quieter periods.
Key duties include:
- Managing goods receivable and placing orders with suppliers
- Verifying and submitting invoices accurately
- Training team members in store processes and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards
- Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Store Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations
- Assisting with food and beverage preparation, including coffee service when required
About You
To succeed in this role you’ll bring:
- 1-2 years experience in inventory or stock control within a food business (required)
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Barista experience is highly regarded (training can also be provided on the job)
- Strong understanding of café operations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
